Mission Statement
Problem
In a world where digital connections are at an all-time high, genuine human connection is at an all-time low. Studies show that young adults spend 70% less time in person with friends than they did two decades ago, and nearly half of U.S. adults report experiencing loneliness.
Solution
To rebuild the communities around shared tables
- Create a welcoming, inclusive space where strangers become friends over great food.
- Encourage in-person interactions by making dining a social experience, not just a transaction.
The Team
Looking for those that want to build something more
Flavor Society is dedicated to exploring and teaching the rich diversity of global cuisines. Every country has hundreds of unique regional dishes, yet most restaurants serve only the same familiar ten. At Flavor Society, we aim to uncover and share the other ninety.
We will introduce lesser-known flavors while educating and immersing you in the cultures behind them.
Food is more than just sustenance; it’s history, tradition, and a way to connect with one another.
After all, how can we truly understand and care for each other if we don’t take the time to learn? And what better way to learn about someone than by sharing a meal?
What is cooking in the kitchen?
You will have to come out to see, or just look below. There’s nothing wrong with the same old Pad Thai etc. that is served at every Thai restaurant, but there are too many dishes in this world to explore for us to be constantly being eating the same old things. Here we want diversity in what is being served. We will explore dishes from around the world. Some of the regions
